Grab bars have all sorts of depressing connotations, so a fresh wall is most certainly an improvement in a renovation. Since these (generally) stainless steel bars are about $20 each and extremely sturdy, maybe the bars can be recycled to the garage for hanging something heavy, like bikes or gardening rakes and weedwackers. Your good ideas help me generate other related ideas. Thanks for the creativity inspiration!
