Gnarly Giveaway

***this gnarly giveaway is no longer accepting entries – sorry!!***

UPDATE: There’s been such an awesome response to this Gnarly Giveaway that I’ve decided to extend it until midnight on Tuesday, April 7, 2009.  Keep those entries coming!!  (P.S.  I love seeing all of these comments with “gnarly” in them!!)

Alright ladies and gents, it’s time for the very first Gnarly Giveaway!!!  That’s right, I said gnarly – kinda like Justin Timberlake, I’m bringing gnarly back – please don’t judge me too harshly.

But I digress – back to the giveaway.

Wouldn’t it be awesome to wake up one morning and realize that the least favorite room in your house has been transformed overnight into a gorgeous space?  All of a sudden the layout is perfect, the best features of your room are highlighted, and that hand-me-down chair that you didn’t know what to do with suddenly looks chic – that would be pretty great, wouldn’t it?

Well, I can’t guarantee that little elves will sneak into your house to make all of that happen, but I am going to give one lucky reader a completely custom, personalized and fabulous design plan for absolutely free.  Nada.  Zilch.  Pretty sweet deal for something that normally runs 50 bucks, right?

I will take into account your budget, style preferences, and any special requests (child-friendly, need to work in my grandma’s dresser, etc) and show you specific accessories, furniture, layouts and paint colors that will make your room into a show-stopper.  And it doesn’t matter if you don’t live in the Dallas area because this design consult is entirely “virtual” and will be done electronically.  Check out prior design consults here and here to see exactly how detailed your custom plan will be.

Living Room - Freshly Fabulous

Here’s all you’ve gotta do to get yourself in the running for this gnarly giveaway – comment on this post and be sure to include somewhere in your comment the phrase “I want a gnarly __________.” (Yes, you have to use the word “gnarly.”)  Fill in that blank with whatever room in your house needs a little love – could be the living room, bedroom, kitchen, patio (not a room, but still), etc.  Or maybe your house is on the market and you need a little staging advice – that’ll work, too.

This giveaway will only be open for entry until midnight on Sunday, April 5th, so hurry up and comment!  [And don't worry - your comment will show up as April 4, 2009, but from my view I can see when the comment was actually made.  Darn blogging software].  The winner will be chosen randomly by Random.org, and only one entry per email address will be counted.

Woohoo!!

P.S.  Be sure to check out Hooked On Houses to see all of the tips, tricks and giveaway’s that everyone’s hooked on today!!
