We have carpet in our bedroom, much to my chagrin, cause hubster didn't want hardwood on a second story bedroom for fear of footstep noise below but I would LOVE to have your floors in my master. We have pine floors throughout the house and currently don't have a rug under the bed (though we do have a runner in the bedroom as well as a 5x8 rug under the chairs in our "seating area"). Given the amount of morning sun our room gets, I actually prefer the cool floors about 10 months out of the year! Looks great!
