I remembered the first day we moved into our house, we weren’t able to get electricity until the next day. So, we cleaned the house until dusk, sat in our backyard patio until it was completely dark, pack up our clothes and crash on my brother’s couch for the night. It really was one of the best moments of our lives.

I suppose my fondest memories of our house will be just “hanging out” on the sofa after work, watching our dog chase the cats in circles while we laugh and chat about our day. Our home is the first home both Dave and I have owned (and our first home together). I’m definitely going to be a bit sad when we leave it.

The day we got the key we went to our new home immediately. There was no furniture, no food, nothing in the house. We sat on the deck, ordered pizza, drank a beer and reveled in the fact that this home was ours!
