For my own well-being, it’s probably best if I never step foot into a HomeGoods again – all that place does is tempt me to spend money!!
These $12.99 ikat vases begged to hang out on my mantle:
These lamps ($39.99 and $49.99) tried to woo me with their curves:
The $16.99 pineapples swore that they would be the perfect addition to any centerpiece in my dining room (and the ceramic ones are a great substitute for the pricier Z Gallerie version):
I just knew that a set of these festive urns would make a great display on our covered patio:
This cute little cake plate for $12.99 could be gussied up for any occasion by simply switching out the bow:
And the graphic shapes of the $2.99 solid plate and gorgeously patterned $3.99 plate would make an awesome statement for a holiday place setting:
These glossy black urns for $29.99 want to flank a console table in a snazzy entryway:
And this $29.99 chinoiserie table would make the perfect bar with the addition of a glass shelf at the bottom:
And everything about this shapely, ebony mirror (for just $19.99) screamed “Buy me!!” Alas, I didn’t have a good place for it. Sniff.
Like I said, a trip to HomeGoods can be dangerous. Gotten anything great there lately?

Must. visit. homegoods. soon!
That table would make a great bar table! I’m looking for one and I haven’t had any luck in finding an affordable option. A trip to HomeGoods may be in store…
Ooh I love your selections – but I have to know – did any of these great finds make it into your home? Those urns for your patio are just awesome. I LOVE them!
Gosh, I love that place. Every time I set foot in there, I kept justifying that each individual items are so cheap, but always find myself walking out hundreds of dollars less in my pocket. I, too, had limit my trips to Home Goods.
I need to make another stop by HomeGoods (and HomeStore actually). It’s been too long. ;)
I go in there every now and then, and when I do I always find great artwork and misc stuff. It looks like I’m heading there this weekend!
BTW – How’s your living room coming along ?
Christy,
I did take home 3 little goodies, but I’m supposed to hide them away until Christmas – my mom decided to give them to me as a gift! However, they aren’t any of the fun things pictured . . . :)
Katrina,
The living room is getting there! Hopefully it will be ready for its debut sometime this century. :) I have a couple more projects and a few things I’d like to add – now if I could just get myself in gear!

what’s not to love? thanks for the inspiration.
Wow! Great finds! Whenever I walk into Home Goods I feel as if I am in Heaven. There are the most amazing things in there and for extremely affordable prices! I actually stopped there this weekend and posted about it. I found the coolest pink letter S to hang or set on my desk (http://www.dreamindomestic.com/2009/10/26/incredible-weekend-finds/) and also this gorgeous ornate pictures frame that I used to make a birthday present for my friend (http://www.dreamindomestic.com/2009/10/28/diy-framed-inspirational-quote/). I can never leave without anything and I end up doing some impulse buying, but it never upsets me because the prices are so low!
I rushed to Homegoods yesterday after work after reading your post! The things I really loved there last week were already gone, and out the door.
Lesson to be learned: If you love it, buy it, ’cause if it’s really that fab, someone else will think so also and buy it out from under you!
Terrific post!
I love those pineapple! and that red pattern plate…oh my! I’m having plate envy! I haven’t been so lucky at “my” homegoods store. ..sigh

Liz ~ I love your finds at HomeGoods. I had never been but made a point to go today after I saw you post — what a great place! I definitely wish I had seen that cake stand when I was there. It was great seeing you at the 10-year and I love the blog!
