Eeek!!  I nearly fainted when I saw that my hosting company had disabled my account for about 2 hours earlier today – a total blackout of IGTBH was definitely not something I was expecting when I woke up this morning!  It’s all worked out now, and hopefully it will stay that way.

Anyhoo, back to regular programming.  Guess what I did this weekend?

A DIY project, maybe?  Nope.

Got all my blog posts ready for the week?  Ha, double nope!

I went skiing!!!

Park City - 2010

We stayed here in Park City, Utah – at the very tippy top of this building!

We’ve stayed here with Jason’s family for the past few years, and we always have this awesome view of the slopes from our balcony:

Don’t we look like pros?  Yeah right!  I managed to end the weekend with only one face plant, which I consider a total success.

Park City - 2009

We hit up the town at night . . .

. . . where I’ve been known to kiss a moose or two.  (This picture was actually taken a few years ago, but I just had to include it!)

Park City - 2006

But I know all the snow we enjoyed this weekend can’t compare to the Snowpocalypse that the East Coast is experiencing right now – how is everybody hanging in there?  And for all you folks that aren’t up to your elbows in snow, got any plans to go skiing before the season is over?

I would love to go skiing, but its a pretty expensive hobby. Not only that, but hubby thinks he’ll come with something broken. I keep telling him he can try cross country, but honestly, I married a wuss. LOL!

I need to get a group of girls to go upstate and go skiing.

Ah I am so jealous! I love Park City and I haven’t been since law school…anywho, y’all look adorable on the slopes!

Irene R.,

Definitely get some girls together to go skiing!! Ha, in my house I’m the one that’s a wuss when it comes to anything athletic. :) As for skiing being expensive, my sister-in-law got a discount on our lift tickets through Lifetime Fitness that cut the price almost in half – let’s hear it for discounts!!! I could definitely use a few more of those . . . :)

Your posts always make me feel happy! I really love your joyous outlook and it spread to me. Looks like a SUPER trip. I went cross country skiing years ago in upstate New York, and am nearly recuperated. Hard work! What a fun jaunt, Liz!
