Oh goodness, this weekend I gave the design side of my brain a little treat and spent some time perusing the portfolios of some awesome designers.  I swooned, I drooled, I plotted impromtu house calls, and then I tucked my favorite images away for later inspiration.

Here are a few of my faves:

Of those posted, I think I love the first photo the most. It’s so light. Like the perfect bedroom in a vacation home.

Yes, my favorite is definitely the fourth one. Love the rug and pops of dark blue – makes me want to decorate room just like that! Hope you had a great weekend – we’re going to make those lasagna roll ups next week, I think!

    Christy,

It’s funny that you mentioned that rug – if I ever got my act together and posted pictures of how our living room looks now you’d see that’s the rug that we have!! (P.S. I love it, too!!)

LOVE the light, airy kitchen! I love how the marble splash framed the windows and went above the window. The treatment really gives a touch of luxury which would not be particularly expensive is marble tiles were used.
Your inspiration page is fab. My fingers are ITCHING to explore. However, I am at work and I guess duty calls . . . for now!
    As usual, great job, Liz!

There are a lot of newbies here for me and that’s so exciting — I am totally tabbing this and coming back later to surf their portfolios.

I adore Palmer Weiss and BTH though — their use of color is spectacular.
