Springtime Is Delicious

Crate & Barrel has jumped on the spring bandwagon with their newest dinnerware collection and I am LOVING it!

Loads of bright & festive colors, graphic patterns and modern designs {think square bowls and plates} make throwing together a spring or summer-inspired soiree a total snap.  Don’t these make you want to sit out in the sun with a {very large} margarita?

From left to right, top to bottom: 1. Ruffle Chargers; 2. Square Dishes; 3. Square Plates; 4. Sorrento Melamine Dinner Plates; 5. Dipping Bowls; 6. Loire Plates; 7. Bianca Melamine Dinner Plates;  8. Whim Plates; 9. Focus Bowls; 10. Square Dishes.

If my husband wouldn’t divorce me, you can be sure I’d be loading up on these babies, particularly the turquoise melamine dinner plates with a few of the dishes from the “square” series thrown in for extra pizazz.  I swoon.

You can check out even more springy additions to the C&B dinnerware collections right here.

Same here – if I hadn’t promised not to buy anything else for the kitchen – ever – (we have boxes of plates and glasses in the garage even!!) — I would so be snapping some of these up. I’d actually like about four of everything! ha! And yes, a very large margarita sounds oh-so-good….maybe later this year for me!

I am a dinnerware junkie! I have five FULL sets of dinnerware and at least four plates (because they’re pretty!) of 4 or 5 others.

Pass the margarita pitcher my way.

Love it! I absolutely love colorful dishware…and I already have far too much of it I’m afraid. I’m always buying bits and pieces of cute stuff (esp. Target!) as I find it but I hardly do the kind of entertaining or cooking to justify all my dishware/serveware. :)

Okay, I haven’t been able to get this post off my mind all day so I changed my mind. I’m buying a bunch of the Sorrento plates – probably two in each color. They’re kid friendly and so affordable. We NEED more kid-friendly plates, we really, really do! :-) Thanks for alerting me to them Liz!!!

Liz — I should read all your comments for the past few days to see if you’ve already answered this, but… when did you sneak in the new banner? I had the feeling late last week that you had changed fonts, and then yesterday I caught on to the new sub-heading. No moss growing at your house, is there!

    • Liz says:

      Janis,

Good eyes!!! You’re right – I changed the header and fonts last week, and the sub-heading maybe a week earlier. I was contemplating bigger changes, but I think I like the way everything is looking right now! How fun that you noticed. :)
