I cut out my own stencil from thick cardboard and then traced around it with a white paint pen - but I think that was a mistake! Next time I will just buy a stencil with a large repeating pattern because it was impossible to keep my small stencil straight (the pattern kept getting a little wonky). I hope that helps!
