Happy Friday, peeps!  I’m heading out of town in a bit for a friend’s bachelorette party (yay!), but before I go I thought I’d leave you with a few of my favorite spring-y DIY projects from across the web.

    All great and really cute ideas, but that first one could probably better be applied to use as a candy jar or something. Any herbs (and almost any other kind of plant) that you try to grow in a glass container with no drainage holes will certainly die and rot in no time.

    The hanging wall vases are my favorite.

      Erin,

      Great point! I could definitely be wrong, but I think this project uses small pebbles at the bottom of the container to help with the drainage problem – I’m not sure if that’s enough to solve the rotting problem, though! I like the idea of the candy container . . . mmmmm . . . candy.

    Great ideas Liz – we keep saying we’re going to grow our own herbs…but have yet to follow through! Argh!

    I DID follow through on something else today though – I got myself to Crate and Barrel and snatched up 8 of those floral melanine plates you showed us recently – I got two in each color! AND I got eight tumblers to match- four pink, four green. LOVE them! Yippee!
