After being banished from our home for eight days because of this, we finally got to move back in today!!! To say I’m giddy is an understatement.
We’re busy moving furniture, putting pictures back on the wall, washing everything in sight, etc. so I hope you’ll understand why this post is so brief {and so late!}.
Pictures of the finished floors to come next week, but in the meantime I’ll leave you with our stain samples {maybe it’s just me, but I think those are fun}. :)

My hat is off to you for enduring the floor re-finishing! It will be wonderful, but you certainly put in a lot of work! Can’t wait to see your office with wood floors rather than carpet. Bet it will look awesome!
I really like your choice of refurbished wood for all the reasons you listed! Great recycling, easier on the finances, and great value. Show us a picture of the “new” wood floors and the “reclaimed” floors.
Nice that the time you needed to be out of your house corresponded with your parents’ absence. Let’s see the redone floors!
