Daydreaming of a Pool

I daydream about our future “dream” house at least 10 times a day.  AT LEAST!  It’s kind of a problem.

And now that spring is in the air and things are starting to bloom and the possibility of flip flops is upon us, my daydreaming has turned towards the outdoors.  My husband is adamant that our next house will have a pool . . . I’ve come around to the idea and we’re now on the same page.

Or are we?

My dream pool looks a lot like one of these:

His, on the other hand, looks exactly like this:

Ha! You have correctly identified his ideal pool. He doesn’t think that the ones I like look “fun” enough!

Hmm. Maybe a clean-lined pool with some colorful landscaping? Surely there is a possibly compromise!

All beautiful pools, but they all look dangerous. People with babies need fences around their pools. And alarms in case a child decides to embark on unsupervised swimming.

Ann, we are totally on the same page – if/when we ever have a pool, it will have a serious fence! But you have to agree that these pools are pretty awesome. :)

We just had hardwood floors put in our living room and dining room. Last year we had a small backyard deck installed. Now I want a pool and extended deck. These pools are beautiful. It’s easy to get carried away with home improvements!
