Hey guys!! Can you believe it’s almost Christmas?? We got in the Christmas-y spirit over the weekend when we visited some of Jason’s fam in Colorado – it was a whirlwind, but lots of fun, and we got to meet our new little nephew and have a Christmas celebration with that side of Jason’s family. I also ran through the airport, shoeless, trying to catch our plane, but that’s another story. :)
Anyhoo, today is going to be busy over at the flip – staging begins!! My mom and aunt are coming over to help with the chaos and it should actually be pretty fun. Hopefully I’ll have pictures of all that soon, but in the meantime I thought I’d walk down memory lane and reminisce about our last flip, the one we sold last November. Here we go!!
- I think my absolute favorite thing that we did with the first flip was turning that nasty swamp in the backyard into something that people would actually want to swim in (and we did have a few dips in the pool before we sold it!). Here’s a little post about that adventure.
- The curb appeal at that house was nonexistent, in large part because of two magnolia trees that were dwarfing the house and making the yard too shady for grass to grow. Here’s how we conquered that problemo.
- Even after the pool transformed from an ugly duckling in to a swan, the backyard still needed some help. Here’s how we spruced up the back patio.
Sorry for the short post, but I’m off to do some manual labor. :) Wish me luck!!
